See if this sounds familiar…
Nobody can do what YOU can do, in the specific way you do it. Regardless of how many people have a similar skill set, you have a certain style, personality, and attitude that can’t be matched by anyone else! You’re so good at what you do, and enjoy it so much, you decided to turn it into a business for yourself.
Unfortunately, when it comes to promoting yourself, marketing your products, or selling your services, all the confidence you have in yourself just flies out the window, and you feel as awkward as a flamingo pretending to be an ostrich.
You might ask someone for marketing help, but you’re not sure what that would look like. You see only the cost of marketing, because you haven’t seen or don’t believe in marketing’s return on investment. Maybe you have ideas but you’re not sure where to start, or you don’t think you can write marketing material, or you think “marketing” is a synonym for that four-letter-word - “SELL.”
