The 6th ‘A-Ha!’ Summit has been unleashed upon the world! This tweet from Dyn’s Tyler Gutierrez sums up NH’s biggest social media, marketing, and success conference quite nicely for you:

Well, after that, what else is there to say?

Quite a lot, actually. If you missed it, what follows will let you experience it from a bunch of different angles. You can also order a “Video on Demand” Pass to get full access to the Summit Sessions and Online Domination Panel Discussion, too.

The Battle Cry of the #AhaSummit

We ARE the Breakthrough is the powerful video manifesto for Owners, Creators, and Leaders that kicked off the day. It could just as easily apply to YOU reading this, too.

The #AhaSummit Twitter Impact

The social media impact of the #AhaSummit is nothing short of amazing! If you’re looking to quantify your social media outreach efforts, TweetReach is a great tool to consider. We pulled the report for the #AhaSummit hashtag and were blown away. 323,000 Twitter accounts reached, and more than 3.7 million impressions. And that isn’t even all of it! The report cut off at 1,500 tweets, and when we called TweetReach to dig deeper, we got a second report that STILL didn’t capture all the tweets!

We recorded a video to geek out over the TweetReach reporting, which also happens to serve as a good example of what TweetReach can offer to event planners.

Tagboard Hashtag Tracking Across Multiple Platforms

This is especially for you if you if like to scan the surface of a large volume of social interactions, yet have the option for the deep dive right there in front of you. Have you ever heard of Tagboard? Fantastic resource that tracks hashtag usage across multiple platforms. We’ve got a tagboard reserved for #AhaSummit, and you can scan through photos, videos, and hundreds of tips, tricks, and insights shared by live and virtual attendees, as well as the speakers and panelists themselves.

Storify: Curated Social Media Stories

If you’d rather explore the #AhaSummit in a more structured and curated way, Lani has exhaustively reviewed both the Instagram and Twitter feeds from the event, and created stories of both via Storify (another fabulous tool). Remember what we said about 1,500+ tweets above? There were more than 300 Instagram photos posted, too, and every time Lani looked, new tweets and Instagram posts were popping up.

Thanks very much to JL Stevens, who shared her take on the #AhaSummit in an awesome blog post for her company, Boldwerks, based out of Portsmouth, NH.

Scrambled Eggs and Social Media | #GMCOCIt was a cold and wet May morning on the outside, but inside at the newly renovated Manchester Country Club, things were piping hot! What a treat it was to be invited by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce to kick off their Summer Social Media Series.

Sponsored by Bellwether Community Credit Union, the event brought biz professionals and non-profit leaders together for networking, a yummy breakfast, and presentations from yours truly. (Side note: Lani won a bet for the second time in a row that most of the audience hadn’t heard of a “gravity well,” which is what Allen used as a visual to illustrate influence in social media. Congrats, Lani!)

In addition to sharing the presentations, we’ve also recorded a webinar version of “Relationship Marketing on Fire!” which is embedded below, along with the “You x 100″ presentation from Slideshare. You can catch the scene and the social action through our wrap-up video and curated Storify, too.

VTNHMG Conference, Social MediaWe had a hey-ho-dilly of a time at the 26th Annual Conference put on by the Vermont/New Hampshire Marketing Group last week! Thanks so much to board member Lisa Landry of Savvy Workshop for recommending us as speakers for this high-powered event, and to Shari LaPierre and Sari White of the #VTNHMG (as it’s known in hashtag parlance) for saying “Yes!” and welcoming us as part of their impressive speaker lineup.

More than 150 professionals participated in the 3-day “Marketing Marathon” event, and we provided the pre-conference workshop and one of the breakout sessions.

Of course, we can’t go anywhere without sharing with YOU, too, faithful blog reader! So here, for all the attendees as well as Epiphanies, Inc. fans, are our two presentations, the conference wrap-up video, and the Storify of the scene. You’d only get more by actually being there!

We just had to share this brilliant social media campaign with you – and it’s one YOU can do, too! The team at ChartSpan, an innovative startup that’s making an app for families to manage their healthcare records securely on their smartphones, decided to do something special for moms on Mother’s Day.

For the weekend leading into Mother’s Day, Ryan O’Hara – ChartSpan’s CMO and member of the ‘A-Ha!’ Tribe – and his team offered to write custom songs on the fly for any mother out there. All you had to do was tweet the mom’s Twitter handle to ChartSpan, and BAM! Custom song and YouTube video within hours. Our son Joe asked them to make one for Lani, and it turned into a rave:

(Can’t see the video above? Click here to watch it on YouTube!)

They ended up making 21 custom songs and videos in three days. The campaign got great visibility for them – exposure to as many as 1.75 million Twitter accounts, more than 500 video views, and a bunch of new website traffic. The full 21-song playlist has 73 views in its own right, and the number grows every day. They also nabbed the attention, respect, and gratitude of some key influencers who now have ChartSpan squarely on their radar. We’ve already joined the waiting list to be notified when the app is available to the public, and hope you will too!

Now, what about YOU? Maybe you’re not the musical type, but could you use an app to create customized and easily-shareable visual messages? How about recording 6-second messages on Vine?

Here’s the thing: To do something memorable and impactful like ChartSpan did, all you have to do is:

1) Pick a theme

2) Pick a tool

3) Use all your channels to get the word out, and

4) PLAY!

The tools are out there, and you have the power to bend them to your will. Memorial Day and Father’s Day are coming up…what will you do with these opportunities?

Facebook News Feed, With Allen VoivodFrustrated with Facebook? You’re not alone. More and more Facebook Page Managers have been venting to us recently. The conversations usually start like this:

“What is Facebook doing to the News Feed? My reach just dropped through the floor!”

“Are they just trying to get us to spend more money and advertise?”

“I used to get great engagement, and now I post and only get a few likes, when I used to get so much more!”

Paraphrased and combined, these are the main themes we’ve heard over the past six months. It’s happening with Pages of all sizes – from a few hundred Likers to 200,000 Likers and more.

Why, Facebook, Why?

If you’ve been wondering what’s been going on, look no further. We’ve got the answers in this video, broken down into three key storylines, as well as what you need to do to get your Page’s engagement and reach back on track.

HubSpot Inbound Marketing Conference“Inbound marketing” – according to Wikipedia, it’s “advertising a company through blogs, podcasts, video, eBooks, e-newsletters, whitepapers, SEO, social media marketing, and other forms of content marketing.”

HubSpot, the marketing software company based in Cambridge, MA, has been espousing the gospel of Inbound Marketing for many years, and this week, they held their annual Inbound conference for more than 5,000 trailblazers, marketers, and tech mavens. Featuring marketing pioneer Seth Godin, Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington, The Signal and the Noise author Nate Silver, and more than 100 other speakers, the event spanned four days and trended on Twitter for most of the event.

Our own Lani Voivod attended as the guest of HubSpot’s Lane Sutton, and captured some of the big ideas from this conference in a series of Instagram and Twitter photos, and rounded them all up in this rockin’ Animoto video, “The #Inbound13 Experience.” (Click to watch here if you can’t see the embedded video!)

If you want a closer look at the images used to create this video (and the quotes from some of these incredible speakers), check out the #Inbound13 Storify wrap-up that Lani created just for you!

Geek Summer Camp at Dyn, Inc.What happens when you put hundreds of bright minds together to talk about Internet infrastructure – speed, optimization, scaling, redundancy, security, email delivery, IP addresses, innovation, and the culture of tech companies?

You get the incredible inaugural event known as Geek Summer Camp. (#geeksummercamp, for you hashtaggers out there.)

On August 7-8, Manchester, NH tech star Dyn, Inc. brought together clients, partners, and folks from the across the tech industry for a two-day summit, and made it ridiculously fun by turning their office space into a campground, complete with campfire, tetherball, mess hall, clotheslines, and even “trees” (they printed giant, hi-res pictures of birch tree trunks to wrap around the office building’s support pillars).

As conferences go, this one had tremendous information AND tremendous visuals, and thanks to the magic of Storify, Twitter, Instagram, and crowdsourced posts from attendees, speakers, panelists, and the Dyn team, here’s your window into the first of what we hope will be many more Geek Summer Camps to come.
