Mastermind meetings may be fine but I personally belong to a very organized group of CEOs and business owners called Chief Executive Boards International. We meet 4 times a year in our city for about 6-7 hours, talking about issues, sharing experiences as well as getting and giving advice. In addition we have 2 National Summits at a conference type hotel where we take 2 days to go a bit more in-depth on some issues as well as attend some workshops or discussion groups about particular topics that are of interest to the group. I have been a member for about 8 years and am a big proponent of this group due to the ideas they have given to me over the years. The cost is fairly moderate and no doubt I have saved several times my investment from improvements I have made in my business from their ideas. We have members from many different types and sizes of businesses and this adds to the quality of feedback you get. Additionally I have made quite a few friends in the organization and really enjoy seeing them at the meetings. You can check them out at http://www.chiefexecutiveboards.com/.

I have been a member of one of these groups for several years now. The company is Chief Executive Boards and the website is http://www.chiefexecutiveboards.com/ I have found them to be a "secret weapon" in my business. We meet several times a year and it is the best money I have ever spent in building my business and helping me become a better person. I would advise any business owner to look in to this group.
