A great resource for designers (and people who would love to make magic with the classics)

We’ve recently been passing emails back and forth with Dailey Pike, a marketing consultant (among other talents) who runs the Cedarlane Natural Foods social network and blogs for “Cedarlaneoholics,” the mavens of the Cedarlane brand. (Full story in Dailey’s comment.)

Inspired by our conversation, Dailey put together a 14-page ebook entitled “10,479 Free to Use Graphic Images,” and though I’m excited enough to spoil the surprise, I’m going to do the right thing, keep my mouth shut, and simply promise you it’s worth the look. (Yes, it’s free, but so are all 144 rack cards for every tourist attraction on display at our local grocery store. Some free things are worth more than others.)

First, I wanted to let everyone know I found Audio Acrobat because of one of your podcasts, signed up thru your site, and it is truly a fantastic product. I’ve set up a customer testimonial line with it, and also created four podcasts that are currently on my site. Thanks.

Second, in my humble little ebook, I use one of Van Gogh’s paintings as an example of the free graphics anyone can use (1 of 10,479). It a skull smoking a cigarette.

Imagine my delight when I found the image on the cover of a book by David Sedaris, currently for sale at Amazon, which validates my point that there’s a lot of great, free graphics out there.
